ancient egyptian

in social studies when are doing stuff about the ancient egyptian and here are some stuff i find out

this is what the door locks look like
Image result for door lock in ancient egyptianThe earliest door lock consisted of a wooden crossbar on two wooden brackets mounted on the door and the door frame. ... These wooden pin tumbler locks with keys were used as far back as in Ancient Egypt, which is why they are often called Egyptian locks.

Egyptian law prohibited slaves and servants from shaving their heads or wearing wigs. The base of an Egyptian wigwas a fiber-netting skullcap, with strands of human hair, wool, flax, palm fibers, felt, or other materials attached. ... Wig hair was arranged in decorative styles throughout all the kingdoms of Egypt.

Early ingredients included the powder of ox hooves, ashes, burnt eggshells and pumice, which probably made for a less-than-refreshing morning tooth-care ritual

Around 3,500 BCE (a long, long time ago), the Egyptians used the shadows the giant stone obelisks cast on the ground to tell the time of day. Each obelisk was built to tell a story. But they worked very well as shadow clocks. Later on, the ancient Egyptians invented the first portable timepiece.

oranga tamarik

Should kids be uplifted from birth due to having unfit parents?
I think yes but no because they uplifted some kids the wrong way yes i get the parents are unfit to look after their kids but the mum had the baby in her womb for 9 months it will be hard to give up the baby like that,

It is difficult for a mother to give up on baby even if she unfit to look after but its her baby not one else baby yes she is unfit to have the baby but no one knows why the mother is the way she is her childhood could of been really bad we can't judge someone that we don't know good at all.

there are so much kids in oranga tamarik care , a lot of the kids in oranga tamarik care have been 36 children were sexually harmed, 182 physically harmed, 35 neglected and 83 emotionally harmed by caregivers, family members, other children and Oranga Tamariki staff.  i think someone should do something about this problem its getting worse and worse every year we need to do something for the kids in care its not right at all we need stand up for the kids in care.
